Summary
Fellow Tech Solutions is a rebrand project created in collaboration with a team of designers. The goal was to refresh the company's identity to better reflect its role as
a reliable, contract-based IT service for small startup tech businesses. We aimed to create a clean, modern logo that feels approachable and professional, while solving past
issues with scalability and clarity. The final design focuses on versatility, reduced printing costs, and a visual style that aligns with the company's innovative and supportive mission.
Target Audience
FellowTech Solutions is built for early-stage startups that don’t have the budget or resources for a full in-house tech team. These are small, growing businesses looking for reliable, contract-based IT support to help them get off the ground.
The goal was to position the brand as a flexible, approachable partner that’s ready to step in and offer solutions when they need it most.
Color Choice
The refreshed identity retains Fellow Tech’s original color palette—blue and orange—as a nod to the company’s existing presence while giving these tones renewed purpose. Blue grounds the brand with a sense of trust and reliability, while orange brings in energy, youth, and a forward-thinking spirit. Together, they reflect the dynamic yet dependable support Fellow Tech offers its clients.
Typeface
The chosen typeface, BD Colonius, introduces a modern and slightly eccentric tone that feels right at home in the digital space. Its geometric, sans-serif structure balances clean professionalism with a subtle uniqueness—an ideal fit for a company that prides itself on smart, tailored IT solutions.
Design Details
The logo conveys a sense of technology, friendliness, and connection. To achieve this, we designed a symbol with a circle, representing wholeness, infinity, and the connection and cohesion
between elements.
Half of the circle features the image of a technology gear, which is made up of the letters T and F, representing our company name.
In the other half of the logo created a small circle was created to represent an eye, which symbolizes the connection and companionship between businesses and customers - the meaning of the word “Fellow”.
Overall, our goal was to create an image of a trustworthy technology friend, always ready to provide the best support, like
a reliable application.
